BeenVerified.com says “Hello World”!

After months of being locked in the office creating, our baby has been born and it’s name is BeenVerified. BeenVerified is an online tool that lets you quickly and easily prove to people you meet online that you are who you say you are. We consider this a pretty awesome step forward in the meeting and establishing of relationships online, especially for people in the professional community, where TRUST is their biggest asset. Being able to present to someone your true identity and even better your verified accomplishments can have a huge impact on the value and safety of online meetings and transactions.

Questions like, Is that coder from India really a PhD? Is that cute chick really a dude? Did this well-known expert really make this blog comment? will no longer be questions and will simply have BeenVerified.

Our patent pending process centers around the fact that everything we do is completely controlled by the user and totally voluntarily. Our users tell us which information they would like verified, where to show it, what to show and also have the additional option of choosing which information they would like to be shown publicly. We will get into privacy, security, the value of trust, and more at length later on…but for now, one more time “Hello World!”.
