BeenVerified.com takes 3rd Place at Sun Microsystem’s Startup Camp “Best Startup”
We attended Sun Microsystem’s Startup Camp last week which was a great event for start-up companies of all phases. It was our first “unconference” and once we got used to the format we really enjoyed it. An unconference is simply a conference with no planned schedule and is decided by the attendees the day of the event. We started the first day with a couple of short presentations and then got right to the unconferencing. We have a couple more of these on our schedule and are excited at the level of participation and feedback we got from everyone about BeenVerified. Congrats to UpNext.com and BricaBox for placing first and second ahead of us for “Best Startup”. Two great products that we, unfortunately, didn’t get to see the demos for since we were presenting at the same time. We did check them out on our own and will definitely keep an eye out for these guys and their products in the future.
